My plan to end religious terror and violence and achieve lasting peace by CF

This topic is of a nubile nature given the recent times in which terrorism is a real and present danger. But given the opportunity to actually attempt this I can think of several topics that can be used tools in the endeavor to end reign of terror and have humanity unite.
First let’s look at some of the points from assignment three. Here we have methods the concepts for which the terrorist attach members and thieves on to reinforce the movement. The first is to dissolve the idea that this is a Cosmic War. I would convince the group that there is no glory in the random and senseless killing of civilians and non-combatants. This is not the act of a soldier on a nubile quest but pirates who are on a self made crusade. To die such as in a suicide attack cannot be consider a martyrs death. Also there cause or struggle can be made without the need for violent methods. Even though Gandhi allows some levels or force, his struggle was still noted to be one made by determination not force.
In fighting the enemy the demonizing must be removed and true nature and culture of both side placed a worth. I would view the point that these are human beings as those in the terror movement and while different each have the same fundamentals desires, security, sense of worth, liberty to peruse eaches' regilious and social order with respect to others under law.  Finally to be part of such a terrible movement does empower the person. Any person can take life and destroy; it is the ability to aspire and promote the betterment of humanity is where the real power lies. By defusing the Cosmic War concept we give hope to those members driven to terror via hopelessness and sense of less worth. To coin a phase “ We must win their hearts and minds”.
The next part is to look into the foundation of the terrorist movements. This means listening to those members and determining what the origins of cause where. The primary goals is to establish who deeply rooted the reasons for movement and where her they have evolved over the life of the cause, In example the Palestinian cause covers several decades and has create several terrorist groups which have evolve over time. Also the birth of Al Quada, many who say the result of the Russian – Afghanistan conflict. I would look to see what the average person in these groups, the non terrorist member looking for satisfaction in their cause. For the Palestinian the need to regain own state and severity with the ability to carry life and pursuit of happiness. In Afghanistan the idea of Western countries abandoning them after the Russian pulled, out this in part being corrected now.
All terrorist groups try to find a key element to rally support and then magnify it into a demonic monster of epic proportions. Deflating this and showing a willingness to support their needs will assist in making the terrorist group less of an influence on them. The\difficulty will lie in the generations that have fought against, such as Israel and Palestine. Any comprise on either side I looked as a betrayal by the extremist. For to reach true peace and closure, these generations will have the hardest time of acceptance.
In our previous discussions we mentioned five methods of ending terrorism. First eradication, second “cracking down”, third using violence to win, fourth separating religion from politics and lastly using religious values to help secular decisions. On the religious side it is very thin line in regards to keeping church and state a separate issue. Most governments have a basis in religious law and morality. In the Middle East, the Islamic Law of religion also governs the government were it has influence. Even the United States much of it Puritan, Mormon, Protestant morality is reflective in state and federal laws. To prevent terrorism from using religious bases for their violence, I would establish a relationship with the religious leaders. I addressing their issues I would ask them to speak to their congregations on not supporting such terrorist units. In using violence or cracking down, this can also due more harm that good. While in War the concept of matching the enemy’s ability to use violence in a terrorist situation this could give then fuel for their cause. Assuring that our courts and law enforcement can effectively arrest and prosecute terrorist offenders show the system can work and the terrorism is not the answer. To declare War and eradicate the enemy in the long play of history make the winning no better than the terrorist they destroy. Eradication should be a last resource in ending terrorism.
In the most Plutonian idealism My concept is creating a governing system that allows all religious groups to practice as they want, have their own social are to live and to recognize each group for what they and except each other and aspire to make humanity better. But like Plato’s’ Republic this is fantasy at this time. Without a common goal to unite, just as the terrorist uses a common glad to rally support one cannot get people of such diversified cultures to unite and accept. Hopefully a common basis will be found to begin the process of global acceptance. Until then we have to commit terror on the terrorist. And in ironly we could be very well conceived as a terrorist our selves. And more importantly those of us who have grown up with terrorism and may have been effective by terrorism will have the hardest time forgiving those who have committed terrorism. But for Humanity to go forward terrorism needs to be reducing to a memory in the pages of history.
