My plan by U.A.

“My plan to end religious terror and violence and achieve lasting peace.”

To end religious terror I think that we need to find a common ground that most religions can relate with.  This is going to be hard because most of the religious leaders of a religion feel as if the other religious groups are their enemy.  I think that if we all learn to respect each other’s believes and try to understand them instead of changing them then we could live in a world that is a little less violent.  I think that to achieve world peace that would last is going to be very complicated.  As said by Security of state Madeleine Albright “it would be a long struggle, unfortunately, this is the war of the future (229).”  I totally agree with this that it is going to take a long time for this war against religious terror to subside.  I feel this way because we cannot just go and try to kill all religions this would cause a lot of chaos in the world.  Religion gives you away of life; helps an individual have morals and gives them something to believe in.  Also no one religion has the authority to decide which is the religion that should exist.  Religion has been around since the beginning of time and cannot be something that can be ignored.
There are a lot of things that need to be settled to make the leaders of all the religions see on the same page.  I think that we should play the scenario “healing politics with religion” in to the plan to stop religious terrorism.  If we let the religious leaders have some what of a say in what is happening in politics then they might feel like they are making the calls about what is happening.  I think that the different religions must feel as if they are contributing to what is happening in society.
So we should call a meeting with all the religious activists to talk about the issues that they are concerned with.  The next step would be to make them set up a list of things that would make them stop the hate, which causes the killing of innocent people. If we can try to solve the issues that concern each religion then maybe we could have a chance at peace in the world.
To me the only way to solve the issue of religious violence is to make all the different religions choose one think that has the most impotence to their cause that they want to have incorporated into politics.  This way we can see what is the reason that these religions fight for.  Then we could put that topic in to affect so each religion feels as if they are contributing to what happens in the world.
